Foundation Golf Tournament

The golf tournament is back on August 28th mark your calenders

The season ended on a high note with Dakota Stroud being the first Female to wrestled in the girls state tournament. Dakota wrestled 3 times to qualify and then finished off two opponents in front of the Rose Garden crowd to claim her first STATE TITLE at 112 pounds. Dakota represented herself, her family and South Umpqua High School wonderfully Congrads!!!!!!!

Chance Walters claimed a 3rd place @160lbs loosing with seconds to go in the semifinal then pinning his way back the 3rd. Bruce Balcita's run for a shot in the finals ended when he reinjured his knee in the semi-final and then dropped back to 6th place. GREAT SEASON GUYS AND YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

Summer Wrestling

On June 15th we will have an opportunity to pair with Riddle & Glendale and wrestler an Alaska traveling team making there way to the Crater Comet Camp in Central Point. There Coach and Team Leaders is ex Riddle Coach Steve Gillispie. Please come out and enjoy the fun.

Summer

Summer is near and we have a lot of opportunities to become better young adults and better wrestlers. Fund riasing opportunties are everywhere starting with the booster club auction. Bruce Balcita, Dakota Stroud, Kyle Archuletta, Josh Sutch, Wyatt Tarditi and a good few good friends of mine SU alumni Jp Kelly and team supporter James Horton knocked out the clean-up for the auction earning a quick $500.00. THANK YOU for showing up. We have some fence building, wood cutting, and bucking hay lined up for us to help everyone get to wrestling camp.
